CSS Branding
The Counseling and Consultation Services Department is one of over 40 Student Life departments that offer services to the student body. However, CCS offers a unique set of services that directly benefit students who may be struggling or need help psychologically. The success of our campaign hinged critically upon message clarity
with the entire target audience.

I created a custom script for the titles of every card. The mono-line script meant to evoke a friendly, easy-going feeling. I also created gradient overlays based on the OSU brand colors.
These gradients are meant to further drive home the idea of relaxation to the viewer. This also helped to differentiate the CSS materials from other departments becoming a visual motif.
What a picture is worth
The various cards had to address a wide spectrum of services that the department provided. We had to carefully select imagery to adiquetely represent each service. Using a mix of stock images, Ohio State images and several custom photos using students as models, we curated a library of 15 images.
